What have you done to protect yourself against ID Theft, lost or stolen identification and lost ATM cards? On the back of my ATM card I've added a WRONG 4 digit pin number. If my card is lost and someone tries to use it at an ATM where the card is "sucked" into, after 3 wrong attempts with the PIN number the card is kept at the ATM and removed from circulation. I'm aware of 5 people who have taken this measure and it has worked for them! __________________ Detective Mike

I was actually in the grocery store the other day, and the woman in front of me had her wallet out writing a check. Her DL was in the plastic cover and I could see her information with no problems. Not only that I knew her bank was Bank of America because her debit card was visible as well as 3 credit cards in her wallet.
I immediately took out my own wallet and turned over all of my credit cards, ATM Card, and drivers license. These items can give out a lot of information to anyone standing behind you in line once you open that wallet.
Just a thought.

Good info. ID crooks are now using cell phone cameras to capture bank card numbers and expiration dates. __________________ Detective Mike
